>> 1. How often should I rustproof my vehicle?
Corrosion Free Rustproofing lasts for 18 months between applications, when compared to other rustproofing compounds it provides over six months of extra protection for your vehicle per application.
|
>> 2. When during my vehicle's lifespan should I rustproof it?
Optimally we recommend you rustproof your vehicle as soon as you receive it to maximize the benefits and minimize any chance of corrosion starting on your vehicle. Even if your vehicle is already rusting, a Corrosion Free Rustproofing will halt the corrosion of your vehicle while protecting the areas that have not yet corroded.
|
>> 3. Is Corrosion Free Rustproofing as good as the dealer rustproofing?
Corrosion Free Rustproofing meets and greatly exceeds the protection of dealer supplied rustproofing compounds. Unlike dealer supplied rustproofing compounds, Corrosion Free Rustproofing protects your brake lines and fuel lines, as well as your suspension. Corrosion Free also differs from other rustproofing compounds as it is safe to spray on rubber seals and vehicle suspensions.
Corrosion free will not void any dealer corrosion warranties and no holes are drilled into the vehicle.
|
>> 4. How long does it take to apply Corrosion Free Rustproofing?
On average a coating of Corrosion Free Rustproofing on a vehicle takes between forty-five minutes to an hour to apply properly.
|
>> 5. Does Corrosion Free Rustproofing damage suspension parts and rubber seals?
Absolutely not. Unlike the older generation (drippy) rustproofings, Corrosion Free Rustproofing is perfectly safe to spray on your suspension parts and seals as it contains no solvents.
|
>> 6. Are any holes drilled during the rustproofing?
Corrosion Free Rustproofing can be properly applied within your vehicle without requiring any drilled holes. Using more sophisticated equipment and proper high-pressure application, Corrosion Free Rustproofing can be applied within your vehicle using the factory drains and other such holes the vehicle came with.
|
>> 7. Corrosion Free Rustproofing really doesn't drip?
Corrosion Free Rustproofing does not drip whatsoever due to how well the compound grips and settles into the metal of the vehicle. If your vehicle was previously treated with an older generation (drippy) and you have Corrosion Free Rustproofing applied over it, the previous rustproofing compound will wash off the vehicle, causing a short-term drip as it's washed off.
|
>> 8. Is Corrosion Free Rustproofing truly the best rustproofing on the market?
Corrosion Free Rustproofing has been deemed by Defence Research and Development Canada as the absolute best choice for corrosion inhibition. The Canadian Military also recognizes the quality of Corrosion Free's Formula 3000 Rustproofing as it has become their choice rustproofing for protecting their military vehicles.
