Kirk has owned and operated Robinson Automotive since 1988. After 30 years of experience in the Automotive industry, he knows all aspects of automotive repair.

With a Master ASE certification, both GM and Toyota factory training, GM specialist electronics training, and accreditation as a Drive Clean Inspector and Repair Technician, Kirk has certainly kept current and expanded his broad expertise.

During 1987-1992, Kirk prepared race cars for Ron Fellows, Richard Spenard and David Empringham in the Players GM Motorsport series. His cars won in 1988, 1990, and 1991 in the GM Motorsport series as well as in 1990 and 1991 in the Firehawk Endurance series in which he raced from 1988 to 1992.

Kirk is also the host of the very popular "Auto Talk" show broadcasted live on Rogers Television every Tuesday at 7:00pm. As well he is the host of "Auto Experts" on Cogeco23, where Kirk appears live every Thursday night at 8:00pm. Featured in Moneysense Magazine, as well as the "Wheels" section of the Toronto Star. Kirk has been a guest on CTV, Global, The Learning Channel, "Silverman Helps," and "Michael Coren Live" where he has helped consumers with their car questions and general automobile queries.

Kirk works with consumer protection groups such as the Ministry of Business Relations, the CAA, and APA to better the auto repair industry and to ensure consumer satisfaction.
